continued from previous toy blog post...
Diamond 5 Ralap's backstory is that his parents were killed when he was 6 years old and he was raised by wolves. He was finally brought back to civilisation after 15 years and by then, he was just a wild beast clothed in human skin. And the gangs gladly took him in. The Jungle Book is also a story about a boy Mowgli who is raised by a family of wolves. He is a feral child from the Pench area in Seoni, India, who originally appeared in Kipling's short story "In the Rukh" (collected in Many Inventions, 1893) and then went on to become the most prominent and memorable character in his novels The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book (1894–1895). Mowgli has been cited as a major influence on Edgar Rice Burroughs' character Tarzan.
But this post is not about Mowgli. It's about DAM TOYS Gangsters Kingdom Diamond 5 "Ralap" 1/6th scale pet wolf "Ghost" which is very well produced even though it does not have any articulation. I've already covered Ralap earlier HERE. Ghost is fixed in a very aggressive posture with angry eyes and looks ready to attack at any moment. It comes with switchable lower jaws which allow it to be posed with open mouth showing teeth and tongue or a gritted teeth alternative option (see the pictures at the bottom of this toy blog post).
